Part
D Medicare prescription Drug Plans have helped many seniors afford medications
that they may nor have been able to afford previously. However, the Part D
coverage does have copays, premiums, deductibles and tiers that can still be
quite costly for many beneficiaries on a fixed income
But
help is available. If you’ve ever found yourself skipping a day of your
medication or cutting your pills in half to make your supply last a little
longer you may qualify for l program called “Extra Help.” The plan
can help pay for things like monthly premiums, annual deductibles, and
prescription copayments in your Medicare Part D drug plan. Surprisingly the program is estimated to be worth about $4,000
dollars per person, per year? Many seniors are eligible and don’t even know it.
Estimates show that about 2 million people with Medicare may be eligible for
the Extra Help program. Is easy to find out if you qualify.
